Marks and Spencer doesn't specialize in Jeans-making, but the variety it offers is mind-blowing. There is a delightful array of cuts, fits, colours, designs and lengths. That too in different fabrics - denim, Tencel, cotton with or without spandex. It gives an interesting yet incredible collection ranging from

In big and HIGH RISE cuts, the jeans looks really stylish, with the top/ t-shirt or shirt tucked in. It can also be worn with a short or a tank top. The only thing to keep in mind before buying it is, that it requires a proper waist/hip ratio. 

The STRAIGHT LEGGED MID WAIST jeans are for all reasons, all seasons and all body types. It can accommodate every kind of figure and can look flattering whether the top is tucked in or kept hanging out. The only thing to keep in mind is, to buy a waist-size larger if it's without spandex. A little loose always looks better.  

SKINNY jeans can be kept for the winter months and paired with a long sweater and boots. It's a complete NO-NO for summers. I personally feel you need the right attitude to carry it more than the right figure. 

MOM JEANS is one variety which flatters your curves and still gives you a cool and sassy look. It's fitted at the waist and gradually gets into a comfortable mode through the hip and below. It comes with 2% elastane. 

BOYFRIEND JEANS provide the extra edge to look confident and great at the same time. Apart from its regular fit and 2% elastane which makes it very comfortable to wear for the whole day, it is ribbed in just the right places making it all the more stylish and savvy.

BALLOON FIT JEANS look great on smaller waists. It is loose overall and tapered at the ankles, but being high-waisted, you might need to buy a size higher than your actual one.

BLACK JEANS/ BASIC BLUE/ WASHED LOOK Jeans are the hot selling evergreen colours.

JEGGINGS, have added stretch for comfort and better fit since they are form-hugging. They can be paired with loose tops or flowy long shrugs for a classic look.

PULL ON JEANS come with an elasticated waist and drawstring feature, with 98% cotton and 2% elastane. ( It is out of stock currently).

Marks and Spencer PER UNA jeans are mostly Tencel blend or Tencel rich. They can be again high waisted, skinny, flared, straight, ankle grazer, wide-legged etc. 

You may ask " What is TENCEL?"

    Tencel fabric is made from the wood of eucalyptus trees. It is giving stiff competition to cotton considering its appearance, durability, breathability and softness. Unlike cotton, it uses Wood pulp instead of plant fibres, so is one of the most eco-friendly fibres in today's world.

Style Tip # My personal rule of carrying any pair of jeans confidently is to pair the fitted lower with loose uppers and vice-versa. I also never wear jeans which are so long that they run out of my footwear ( simply fold them till I get them altered to suit my length).   :-)
